Last Updated: June 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing darelmecca.com, submitting a booking inquiry, or purchasing a travel package from Dar El Mecca Travel ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time; your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Services

Dar El Mecca Travel is a Hajj and Umrah travel agency headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, serving Muslim pilgrims across the United States. Our services include the facilitation of Hajj and Umrah travel packages, Islamic cultural tours, visa processing assistance, hotel and flight coordination, and pre-departure consultation. We act as an intermediary between our clients and service providers including airlines, hotels, and Saudi government authorities. We do not directly operate airlines, hotels, or ground transportation services.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as specified at the time of booking.
  • Prices quoted are based on current rates and are subject to change without notice until a deposit is received and the booking is confirmed.
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due by the date specified in your booking confirmation.
  • Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any deposits paid.
  • Payment is accepted via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or certified check. All transactions are processed in US Dollars.
  • Dar El Mecca Travel is not responsible for fees imposed by your financial institution in connection with any payment.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@darelmecca.com. Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the following schedule:

  • More than 90 days before departure: deposit forfeited; remaining payments refunded less processing fees.
  • 61–90 days before departure: 50% of total package cost forfeited.
  • 31–60 days before departure: 75% of total package cost forfeited.
  • 30 days or fewer before departure: 100% of total package cost forfeited; no refund.
  • Hajj packages are subject to the cancellation terms of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umrah and the Nusuk platform, which may override the above schedule.
  • Dar El Mecca Travel strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

5. Changes and Amendments

We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries, accommodations, or services when circumstances beyond our control require it — including but not limited to natural disasters, government directives, airline schedule changes, or acts of God. We will make every reasonable effort to notify affected clients promptly and to offer comparable alternatives. We are not liable for additional costs incurred due to such changes.

6. Travel Documentation

It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to hold valid travel documents, including a passport valid for at least six months beyond the return travel date. Non-US citizens must verify visa and entry requirements with the appropriate Saudi embassy or consulate. Dar El Mecca Travel provides visa processing assistance but cannot guarantee visa approval. We are not responsible for any losses incurred due to a traveler's failure to obtain the required documentation.

7. Health and Vaccination Requirements

All pilgrims are required to comply with Saudi Arabia's current health and vaccination requirements, which may include a meningococcal (ACWY) vaccination certificate and any additional health documentation mandated by the Saudi Ministry of Health. Requirements are subject to change. Dar El Mecca Travel is not responsible if a traveler is denied entry or boarding due to failure to comply with health requirements. We recommend consulting your physician well in advance of your departure date.

8. Limitation of Liability

Dar El Mecca Travel's liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for:

  • Loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, political unrest, strikes, or acts of God.
  • Actions or omissions of third-party service providers including airlines, hotels, and ground operators.
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings during travel.
  • Health conditions, injuries, or deaths arising during the pilgrimage or tour.
  • Cancellation, delay, or curtailment of services resulting from government mandates, pandemic restrictions, or force majeure events.

9. Travel Insurance

Dar El Mecca Travel strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and loss of personal belongings. We do not include travel insurance in our packages unless explicitly stated. Failure to obtain adequate insurance is at the traveler's own risk.

10. Conduct

All clients are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with Islamic principles, Saudi law, and the regulations of the holy sites in Makkah and Madinah. Dar El Mecca Travel reserves the right to remove any client from a group tour if their conduct is deemed disruptive or offensive, without refund. Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to hotel property or facilities.
